Wake Up to Woodland Hills: Rev Up Your Appetite at Gasolina Cafe!

Stop in and fuel up at Gasolina Cafe in Woodland Hills, where brunch shifts into high gear!

Tastes of Spain:

Dive into the classics with our Tortilla Española, a potato and caramelized onion omelet served everywhere in Spain that is as comforting as it is satisfying. Load up the table with Pan con Tomate, crispy Jamon a la Plancha and, of course, Churros direct from Spain!

Brunch Classics, Revved Up:

Try our epic plate of Patatas Bravas—home fries topped with chorizo, serrano ham (aka jamon), brava sauce, aioli and a sunny egg—and you’ll be ready for the Grand Prix. We add serrano ham (or avocado!) and melted majon cheese to our Breakfast Sandwich on fluffy brioche; and our Turron French Toast brings Spanish almond crunch to a brunch staple. Keeping it light? Our Smoked Salmon Toast with herbed crema, a poached egg and farmer’s market arugula will take you there!

Veggie Vibes:

We work with local farmers to bring you the best of the best! Our Seasonal Omelet is always packed with market veggies and tangy goat cheese. Our Spring Bowl tops a healthy mix of quinoa, farro and lentils with broccolini, pea tendrils, asparagus, snap peas and fresh-herb salsa verde (add protein if you like!). And the vegan El Vegetariano Sandwich takes portabello mushrooms for a joyride with Spanish romesco sauce.

Craving Crusher:

Whether you’re brunching for a big day out or after a big night out, we got you. Try our Gasolina Grass-Fed Beef Burger cooked a la plancha with our signature onion marmalade and patatas on the side! Or go full Spanish with our La Española Sandwich—layers and layers of oveja cheese, serrano ham, chorizo, piquillo peppers, guindilla peppers, and aioli on ciabatta! And is it really brunch without Skillet Eggs with beef brisket and sofrito? There’s only one way to find out.

Brunch with Us:

Whether you're brunching with pals, gearing up for the day, or treating yourself, Gasolina Cafe is the place to shift into flavor overdrive! Join us in Woodland Hills for brunch in the fast lane! With indoor and outdoor seating, espresso and drip coffee from local Laidrey Roasters, sangria and mimosas by the glass (or “Grande” for the table), natural wines from orange to Albariño and fresh-squeezed juice, we’ve got everything you need for a good ride, whether you’re brunching in the morning or the afternoon.

Come on down to Gasolina Cafe’s brunch today for Spanish roadside vibes in Woodland Hills. You’ll leave with a full tank!

PAELLA NIGHTS AT GASOLINA 🥘 Friday, March 15th & Saturday March 16th

The godfather of the Paella is BACK! PAELLA VALENCIANA, traditionally made with rabbit, snails and beans, is rarely seen in LA. We only offer it once a year! Paella began as peasant dish, cooked by farmers with what they could gather on the land. This original Paella is a tribute to those cooks and believe us, the combo works! But no worries, if this is too far out for you, we will have the classic PAELLA DE MARISCOS and our Vegan PAELLA PRIMAVERA with all the Spring Vegetables the farmer’s market has to offer.

The four-course menu also includes Roasted Asparagus (they just made their return to the market in bunches) with tangerines and pistachios and our fan favorite Tarta de Santiago! Add a natural wine pairing of toasty bubble, electric rosé and tangy Tempranillo to go full Spanish.

PAELLA MEXICANA:

GASOLINA X CASA VEGA

Friday, March 22nd at Casa Vega

6pm & 8pm Seatings

Valley Girls Christy Vega & Sandra Cordero are joining forces to bring you "Paella Mexicana" under the stars. On Casa Vega’s patio, Christy will be shaking up cocktails (think: Pink Pig tequila), & Sandra will be behind the giant Paella pans (think: carnitas + chorizo!).

Paella Mexicana: Live Flamenco music, a Photo Booth & a 4-course Paella menu combining the greatest hits from both restaurants! See you there!

Then, from our sister restaurant, Xuntos, Sous Chefs Andrea & Paz will be sharing a delicious Family Meal highlighting the most-requested dishes they've prepared for our team to eat before their shifts.

As we're opening our doors especially for this event, we've added a fixed menu to make this a communal dining experience that, as always, will be both educational & a blast (now with more food!). You will have an opportunity to add on more wine, dessert & bottles to take home from our shop.

Book Now!

30 Under $30

At Gasolina Cafe, we're thrilled to introduce our latest offering in the wine shop: Gasolina's 30 Under $30 – a curated selection of natural wines priced for everyday enjoyment.

Why 30 Under $30?

We asked ourselves, what kind of neighborhood wine shop would we like to have? The answer: wines priced affordably for everyday drinking. Low enough to take a chance on something new, and low enough to snag that Thursday night staple again and again. We’re offering discounts on featured wines and rewards for frequent shoppers.

Embracing Spanish Wines

We may be biased, but Spain is one of the most exciting wine regions in the world right now. That's why you'll find plenty of Spanish wines in our collection. From Rioja to Rías Baixas, our Spanish wines capture the diverse terroirs, flavors & personalities of this dynamic region.

All Natural Wines, Always

At Gasolina Cafe, we're committed to offering natural wines made without anything added or taken away. All our wines are organic, and many have no added sulfites, while the rest contain only a small amount. We believe in transparency and authenticity, and our natural wine selection reflects those values.

Meet the Makers

All of our wines come from small growers and producers, many of whom we've met personally. Whether it's visiting vineyards in Spain or attending Spanish wine fairs across the country, we've formed relationships with the passionate individuals behind each bottle. Plus, more than half of our wines are made by women winemakers.

Tasting Notes

Our selection runs the gamut from traditional to adventurous. We’ve tasted everything, and we draw from what we’re loving right now, with a sprinkling of old favorites. New wines are added every month, now grouped into easy categories to suit your mood:

Classic & Elegant * Fresh & Crispy * Juicy & Wild * Intense & Complex * Surprise me! (Gasolina Discoveries)

Featured Wines: Rainy Day Reds
Buy both, take 5% off!

Tuets “Tot” Tempranillo + Syrah 2019

A Catalan wine that starts off earthy (a muddy morning on the farm), moves through savory flavors like black olive (that’s the Syrah) & ends up peppy & awake, with bright fruit flavors. Truly a charming bottle that is tasting great after a few years of age.

Humus “Tosco” Syrah 2018

Also Syrah, this Portuguese red, named for the turning soils below us, is more grounded & compact. Supple in texture, it has notes of roasted tomato & a tart cherry finish. A wine that sticks to your ribs, pair it with the biggest dinner of the week. Lasagna anyone?

Join us on a natural wine adventure at Gasolina Cafe. With our 30 Under $30 selection in the wine shop, there's something for every palate and occasion. From classic & elegant to juicy & wild, our wines are waiting to be discovered. Stop by and explore the flavors of Spain and beyond – we can't wait to raise a glass with you!

GASOLINA & 805 LIVING'S DISHING IT OUT FOR CHARITY

NOVEMBER HAPPENINGS

~ Dishing It Out for Charity with Noah’s Caramel Bread Pudding
~ Book Wednesday Wine Explorers, 11/16 ~
~ Book November’s Paella Nights, 11/18 - 11/19 ~

Noah’s Caramel Bread Pudding
A salted caramel bread pudding served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

We’re proud to participate in 805 Living Magazine’s “Dishing It Out for Charity,” running through Dec. 31, 2022. We’re pledging $2 for every order of Noah’s Caramel Bread Pudding to the Live Like Noah Foundation. Check out the story in @805living’s November issue at http://www.805living.com/.

It’s named after Noah Michaelis, one of our first and most devoted customers—and a fan of bread pudding. She battled congenital heart disease (CHD) and four open-heart surgeries before passing away at the age of 13. Although her life was presented with such challenges, she lived it with grace and a zest for life, teaching us all how to be better stewards to each other despite our challenges. She’ll forever be an inspiration to us.

Sales of Noah’s Caramel Bread Pudding will benefit the Live Like Noah Foundation, an organization that raises funds to support research into lymphatic treatments for families affected by CHD. Chef Sandra also sits on the foundation’s board to help keep Michaelis’ legacy alive.

Help Keep Gasolina Cafe Open: Buy A Meal For A Healthcare Worker

With the new shutdowns, we don’t know how long we’ll be able to stay open, but as long as we can manage it, and as long as there is interest from the public, we’d like to keep our business going and do something contributive for those who can use it.

The people working in Emergency Rooms and ICUs in the San Fernando Valley—and all over the world—are our heroes! These folks are on the front lines encountering hundreds of ill people daily. The doctors, nurses, techs and administrators do their work with the utmost care, professionalism, and with selflessness. But they’re not immune to anxiety and they certainly feel overwhelmed during intense times like these. Through your generosity, we would like to nourish and support these teams, to show them how appreciated they are. This will also allow Gasolina to keep Team Gasolina working through the shutdown.

Every meal you purchase for a healthcare worker will be prepared at Gasolina Cafe and delivered to an Emergency Department in the San Fernando Valley by Team Gasolina.

When making your purchase, choose “pick up” when prompted, please include your name, what part of town you are from, and a message for the hospital staff. We hope to provide these people with the sense that the whole city is behind them. We print them out and deliver them with the meals. They love getting these messages from you.

Thanks so much for your continued support.

Stay Safe,
Sandra & Team Gasolina.

GASOLINA Cafe is now open and here to bring the goods.

We want you to know, we are committed to serving you as responsibly and safely as possible. We are taking extra measures as the safety and health of our guests and staff is paramount. Below are new requirements we’ve introduced to ensure we are adhering to applicable health and safety guidelines and complying with state and local law. You can find a complete list of our health & safety protocols here.

SAFETY MEASURES FOR OUR GUESTS

  • All guests must wear a cloth face cover while at Gasolina Cafe. Please use hand sanitizer and wear a face covering when not eating or drinking.

  • Maintain a physical distance of six feet, wash hands or use sanitizer upon entry into a restaurant.

  • Stay home if you are ill or have symptoms consistent with COVID-19.

  • While it may be common practice for our guests to socialize after the meal, this practice will be discouraged during the pandemic.

  • Gasolina Cafe maintains the right to refuse service for non-compliant guests. Guests failing to comply may be asked to leave by management and/or reported to law enforcement.

We have also implemented an 18% service charge added to all checks. Tips are politely declined. This allows us to pay equitable wages for our kitchen and service staff and to offer healthcare. Please let us know if you have any questions. We appreciate you supporting a happier & healthier staff.

So… Stop In, Fuel Up. We look forward to seeing you again.
